Privacy
Short version: we count pages only if you say yes, we never see your IP in our records, and we sell nothing.
What we store, and when
- Session cookie (
gm_s) — only if you sign in. Strictly necessary; expires after 90 days; deleted on sign-out. - Language choice — in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to us.
- Newsletter — your email and, if you set them, your season/area preferences. Used only to send the newsletter you asked for. One click to be removed: reply "stop" or email us.
- Saved events — the list of event ids you ♥, tied to your account.
- Page counts — ONLY after you press "Accept" in the consent banner: an aggregate counter per page per day. No IP address, no user agent, no cookie, no individual profile — the database literally has three columns: day, path, count. If you decline (or your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal), the counter never starts.
What we never do
- No third-party trackers, no ad-tech pixels, no fingerprinting.
- No selling or sharing of personal data (CPRA: we are not a "business that sells or shares personal information"; we also honor the GPC signal as an opt-out).
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU) and UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or export of your data, and withdraw consent at any time — the banner reappears if you clear the site's storage, and "Decline" stops counting immediately. Under the California CPRA you have equivalent rights to know, delete and correct. Use our contact form — we answer within 30 days.
Sources and images
Event data is collected from public web pages; each event links its source. Cover images are loaded from the source website (with a no-referrer policy). If you own a source site and want an image removed, one email is enough.
